This course focuses on procedures and contemporary best-practices for conducting and managing internal affairs investigations by law enforcement and other governmental disciplines. This is an interactive program with attendees participating in various scenarios presented by instructors who have deep knowledge and experience in managing internal affairs cases and departments.
While the course of instruction addresses internal control processes, administrative procedure and agency accountability measures; the content has value for all managerial and supervisory levels in law enforcement and other governmental disciplines (corrections, correctional probation, fire service, human resources, and other OIG entities).

The cost of the Internal Affairs course is $650.
Sworn and professional law enforcement staff are welcome to all FBI-LEEDA classes. You do not have to be a member to attend a class.

If a program is canceled or postponed, FBI-LEEDA will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other related costs, charges or expenses, including but not limited to cancellation/change charges assessed by hotels, airlines or travel agencies. Requests for substitutions for another class or of another attendee for the same class will be accommodated whenever possible. Additional fees will not be charged for reasonable substitutions.
